Vinted Members Share Frustration Regarding Sizing Modifications
Vinted users have been reacting angrily following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has altered its size classifications for female and kids' apparel but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches other platforms.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Modifications
Before the change, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Experiences
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, located in England, said she had been left angered by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she said.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: last year, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options after backlash from users.
