Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
